1. Campaign Management
Setting up a campaign on RedTrack.io is an easy task. All you need to do is add a traffic source, landing pages, and offers to get going. What’s nice is that you can create a new landing page or offer right from the campaign dashboard itself. The software’s campaign builder allows you to add multiple landing pages and offers to a single campaign. Importantly, while the software, by default, assigns the same importance or weight to all your offers (if you have more than one), you can tweak these settings. This way, you can configure the distribution of traffic to each offer according to your liking. For example, if you see that ‘Offer A’ is getting more traction from your customers, you can accord it more weight than your other offers. The software will then display ‘Offer A’ more prominently to visitors.
There are a ton of additional configurations you can define to finetune your campaign. These include conversion caps, proxy settings, cost models, and various other redirect filters. Once you have added the necessary details, the system automatically generates a tracking URL. You can then paste this onto your traffic source to start tracking your clicks and conversions. The good thing is that even if you mess up the campaign configuration settings so the software cannot process clicks, the platform has a backup plan for that. This backup plan comes in the form of the ‘Fallback URL’ feature, a second URL you can set up for the software to send your clicks to. No doubt, this is a feature that novices new to the world of campaign tracking will appreciate.
2. Reporting
The platform’s tracking and reporting capabilities are robust. It offers users over 30 different data points, ranging from unique clicks and impression tracking to conversions and ROI. These data points cover all the bases when it comes to getting a detailed picture of your campaigns. The software displays the data points in tabular form against each campaign. Notably, each campaign tracking report can be customized to your liking.
Accordingly, you can enable or disable data points to show only the ones relevant to your campaign. Besides, you can also reorder the data columns to change the view by dragging and dropping them to your preferred order. Importantly, RedTrack.io is a non-sampling tracking platform. This type of application analyzes the entire data set rather than just a subset of the data, ensuring that you get the whole picture with accurate reports.
Notable and recent feature addition is the software’s fraud reporting tool. This report gives users an overview of all the traffic they have bought. Pertinently, it shows what percentage of the traffic is genuine and which is fraudulent or bot traffic. The software uses abound 13 data metrics to determine if an ad click is authentic or not. What’s more, once you have identified the perpetrators behind these fraudulent clicks, you can use RedTrack’s ‘Bot Blacklist’ feature to block the offending IPs or Sub IDs. The feature, however, comes at an additional cost of $0.10/1000 clicks checked.
3. Landing Page, Traffic Source, And Affiliate Network Management
The platform allows you to add and monitor four types of landing pages: Landing, prelanding, listicle landing, and listicle prelanding pages. While the landing page constitutes the page before your offer, the listicle landing page contains links to multiple offers. Similarly, the listicle prelanding page houses links to several different landing pages. Helpfully, you can assign tags to each landing page, a boon for agencies handling multiple pages, and need a way to organize or identify them quickly. Importantly, the software’s security settings ensure .that your landing pages are protected against spy-bot visits.
For traffic source management, the software has a ton of prebuilt templates for common redirect platforms such as Google AdWords, TrafficForce, and MobFox, to name a few. These come with pre-filled information such as the S2S postback URL and click reference ID, which is an excellent time-saving feature. If you cannot find a template for the traffic source you use, the software, helpfully, allows you to configure a custom one. In a similar vein, RedTrack.io also has a ton of prebuilt templates for popular affiliate networks to add one with just a few clicks. Alternatively, you can create a custom link too.
4. Automation
RedTrack’s auto rules tool is another one of its recent feature rollouts. At present, it is available only for subscribers of the Pro and Business plans. It is a tool that allows you to automate several affiliate marketing tasks. The intelligent algorithms work as, and when you start a campaign keeping the KPIs, you have set as their benchmark. So, if the standards you have set for your campaigns are not met, the software automatically changes the settings according to your preferences.
Accordingly, you can pause or stop a campaign if its performance is not up to the mark or if fraudulent traffic rates are high. You can also configure the system to redistribute traffic to more popular offers or streams based on its performance. Besides, the software automatically optimizes your streams by deflecting visitors to ones with a higher conversion rate or EPC (earnings per click). Furthermore, it updates metrics such as campaign costs and ROI in real-time. Importantly, you will be notified if any changes to your campaign are made.
5. Publisher Management Panel
This feature is available to the Business and Custom Plan subscribers and as an add-on for Pro plan users. It is a feature set tailor-made for media buyers that work with other affiliates and publishers. Here, managers get a separate control dashboard from which they get access to and can monitor all their publisher’s campaigns. Besides, you get a separate app that can be white-labeled with your brand’s logo, colors, and URL. This feature works great for agencies looking to offer tracking as one of their services.
6. Dashboard
The system’s dashboard gives you a graphical overview of all your campaigns. You can switch between monthly, weekly, daily, and hourly views. Besides, you can also configure a custom view. Besides this, you also have four data boxes that display essential metrics, such as clicks and conversions. What’s nice is that you can completely customize these only to display the important parameters of your business.
